Assembly

control over torque reaction or kick-back. Operation of the tool without the auxiliary handle could cause loss of control of the tool, resulting in possible serious personal injury.

REMOVING AND INSTALLING

ABRASIVE CUT OFF ATTACHMENT Disconnect battery pack from tool or place the

switch in the locked or off position before making any assembly, adjustments or changing accessories. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the tool accidentally. Make certain that the collet nut is securely tightened before turning the tool on.

1.Insert the 1/4” collet into the collet nut. Loosely thread the collet nut onto the output shaft (Fig. 2).

2.Insert drive bit into the collet until it stops, and securely tighten the collet nut with the wrench.

3.Open locking lever and position attachment onto the collar. Note: It may be necessary to rotate attachment slightly and hold both the tool and attachment shaft locks to engage square end of drive bit into attachment.

4.Position attachment as shown and lock the clamp lever.

Use the allen wrench to adjust the lock lever adjustment screw.
