4. | Insert the coffee grinder into the blender opening. (Fig. 20) |
|
5. | Place the ingredients to be ground in the coffee grinder. |
|
6. | Do Not fill above the max line of the coffee grinder bowl. |
|
7. | Place the coffee grinder lid onto the coffee grinder. |
|
8. | Turn the coffee grinder lid counter clockwise to lock lid in |
|
| place. |
|
9. | Recommended speed levels for grinding coffee are between |
|
| 5 to MAX. |
|
10. | Always operate the coffee grinder with the coffee grinder lid | Fig. 20 |
| locked in place. | |
|
|
WARNING: Never operate the coffee grinder without the food processor bowl in place and without the coffee grinder lid on. Do Not process hot ingredients in the coffee grinder.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT operate continuously for more than 20 seconds at one time.
NOTE: The higher the speed setting, the finer the grind.
Operating the Blender
GETTING TO KNOW YOUR QUAD BLADE FOOD
PROCESSOR
CAUTION: Make sure that the unit is unplugged from the power |

source and the the Speed Control Dial is in the "Off" position |

before inserting or removing any attachments and before |
| |
cleaning. |
| |
1. Place the food processor bowl onto the processor body. | Fig. 22 | |

2. When fitted correctly, the handle will fit into the slot at the |
| |
base of the unit. |
| |
3. Place the food processor lid on the bowl and lock in place by |
| |
turning counter clockwise. (Fig. 22) Make sure that NO |
| |
ATTACHMENTS are inside the food processor bowl when | Fig. 23 | |
you are using the blender. | ||
4. Open the safety cover by pressing on the safety cover |

release button. (Fig. 23) |

5. Place the blender jar in the opening and turn counter |
| |
clockwise to lock in place. (Fig. 24) |
| |
WARNING: Never operate the blender without the blender lid in |
| |
place. When processing hot ingredients, remove the |
| |
measuring cap from the blender lid to allow steam to |
| |
escape. (Fig. 25) |
| |
6. Recommended speed level for blending are between 5 to |
| |
MAX. When blending soft vegetables or fruits start with level | Fig. 24 | |
“5" and then go to a higher level. For hard vegetables or fruit | ||
| ||
always use MAX speed level. |
| |
IMPORTANT: Do NOT load the blender with more than 10 oz. |
| |
(300 gr.) of hard vegetables at one time. Do NOT operate |
| |
continuously for more than 20 seconds at one time. |
| |
NOTE: You can crush 16 oz. (500 ml) of ice cubes in the blender |
| |
using the PULSE/TURBO button. |
| |
CAUTION: To prevent spilling (overflow) do NOT operate the |
| |

*When blending hot liquids, always remove the small measuring cap in the blender lid.
*Avoid contact with moving parts at all times.
*Keep hair, clothing as well as spatulas and other kitchen utensils out of the blender jar while in operation to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the blender. A spatula may be used but ONLY when the unit is not in use.
