operating instructions

Before lighting and using your appliance, check all connections for leaks using a mild soapy water solution. DO NOT USE MATCHES! Testing for leaks should start at the gas cylinder working back to your appliance.

Leak Test Procedure

1.Turn OFF the propane supply at the cylinder. Turn OFF all appliance burner controls.

2.With the appliance controls in the OFF position, turn propane cylinder valve ON. This pressurizes all lines to appliance(s). Wait 3 seconds then CLOSE cylinder valve. The grill gauge now monitors pressure between the cylinder and appliance. Any leaks in the lines between the cylinder and appliance will be indicated by the window color changing from green to red within 45 seconds. On some propane systems, the color will change over a longer period of time.
