Turning on the machine

Prepare the included power cord.

aMake sure that the sewing machine is turned off (the main power switch is set to “ ”), and then plug the power cord into the power supply jack on the right side of the machine.

bInsert the plug of the power cord into a household electrical outlet.

XThe sewing light and the LCD come on when the machine is turned on.

zWhen the machine is turned on, the needle and the feed dogs will make sound when they move; this is not a malfunction.

Turning off the machine

When you are finished using the sewing machine,
turn it off. In addition, before transporting the sewing	1
machine to another location, be sure to turn it off.	1

bPress the left side of the main power switch on the right side of the machine (set it to “ ”).

XThe sewing light and the LCD go off when the machine is turned off.
