4Fan the stack of paper well to avo id paper

jams and mis-feeds.

5Gently insert the paper into the paper tray

print side down and top edge first.

Check that the paper is flat in the tray and

below the maximum paper mark.

6Put the output paper tray bac k on and push

the paper tray firmly back into the machine.

1Connect the power cord.

DO NOT connect the USB cable ye t.

Warning

The machine must be fitted with an earthed plug.

1After connecting the power c ord, the LCD

shows:

2Press ▲ or ▼ to select your language and

press Set.

3If your language is selected, press ▲ (Yes).

■Make sure the paper side guides touch

the sides of the paper.

■Be careful not to push the paper too far

into the paper tray so it does not slide up

the back of the tray.

can change the language after setting the
