Installing the Driver & Software

8When the PaperPort® 8.0 SE S etup window

is displayed, click Next.

9After reading and accepting the ScanSoft®

License Agreement, enter your user

information and click Next.

0Select Typical and click Next.

AClick Install and PaperPort® will start

installing on your computer .

BWhen the ScanSoft® Registr ation screen is

displayed, make your select ion and follow

the on screen instructions.

CClick Finish to complete installation.

DWhen the Brother MFL-Pro Suit e

Installation window appears , click Next.

For Windows NT® Workstation Version 4.0 Users

If an error message appears at this point in

the installation process, or you have

previously installed MFL-Pro Suite, you will

first have to uninstall it. From the Start

menu, select Programs, Brother, MFL-Pro

Suite MFC-8840D, Uninstall, and then

follow the instructions on the screen.
