THERMOSTATLIMITED WARRANTY

WARRANTYCONDI TIONS:

1. To obtain thelonger warranty periods as shownin the table under original owner,for the original purchaser, the productmust be
properly registered at www.bryant.com within ninety(90) days of original installation. In jurisdictions wherewarranty terms condi-
tionedon registration areprohibited by law, registration is notrequired and the longer warrantyperiod shown willbe apply.
2. Where a product is installedin a newly constructedhome, the date of installationis the date the homeowner purchasedthe home from
the builder.
3. If the date of originalinstallation cannot be verified,then the warranty periodbegins ninety (90) days from the date of product manu-
facture(as indicatedby the model and serialnumber). Proof of purchase maybe required at time of service.
4. The remainder of the firstfive years of warrantyis freely transferablewithout registration.
5. Product must be installedproperly and by alicensed HVACtechnician.
6. The warranty appliesonly to products remainingin their originalinstallation location.
7. Installation, use, care, and mainten ance must be normal and in accordance with instructions contained in the Installatio n Instructions,
Owner’sManual and Company’sservice information.
8. Defectiveparts must be returnedto the distributor througha registered servicingdealer for credit.
LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTIES: ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND/OR CONDITIONS (INCLUDING IMPLIED
WARRANTIESOR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULARUSE OR PURPOSE) ARE
LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. SOME STATES OR PROVINCES DO NOT ALLOW
LIMITATIONSON HOW LONG AN IMPLIEDWARRANTY OR CONDITION LASTS, SO THE ABOVE MAYNOT APPLY TO
YOU. THE EXPRESS WARRANTIES MADE IN THIS WARRANTY ARE EXCLUSIVE AND MAY NOT BE ALTERED,
ENLARGED, OR CHANGED BY ANY DISTRIBUTOR,DEALER, OR OTHER PERSON, WHATSOEVER.
THIS WARRANTYDOES NOT COVER:
1. Labor or other costs incurredfor diagnosing, repairing,removing, installing, shipping, servicin g or handling of either defectiv e parts, or
replacement parts, or new units.
2. Any product purchasedover the Internet.
3. Normal mainten anceas ou tlined in the installation and servicing instructions or Owner’s Manual, includ ing filterclean ing and/or replace-
mentand lubrication.
4. Failure, damageor repairs from faulty installation,misapplication,abuse, improper servicing,unauthorized alterationor improper opera-
tion.
5. Failure to startdue to voltage conditions,blown fuses,open circuit breakers,or damages dueto the inadequacy or interruptionof electrical
service.
6. Failure or damage due to floods, winds, fires, lightning, accidents, corrosive environmen ts (rust, etc) or other conditions beyond the
controlof Company.
7. Parts not supp lied or designated by Company, or damages resulting from their use.
8. Products installedoutside the U.S.A. or its territoriesand Canada.
9. Electricityor fuel costs,or increases inelectricity orfuel costs from anyreason whatsoever,including additionalor unusual use ofsupple-
mental electric heat.
10. Any cost to replace, refill or disp ose of refrigerant, including the cost o f refrigerant.
11. ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL PROPERTY OR COMMERCIAL DAMAGE OF ANY NATURE
WHATSOEVER.Some states or provinces do not allow the exclusionof incidental or consequentialdamages, so the above limitation
may notapply to you.
ThisWarranty givesyou specific legal rights,and you may also haveother rights which vary fromstate to stateor province to province.
