Predictive text
Your BT Freestyle 4100 gives you the option of using predictive text. It utilizes LETTER predictive text which ‘guesses’ what the next letter is most likely to be and inserts it.
Switch predictive text on or off
When writing a text, press and hold 
to switch predictive text between on and off. When predictive text is switched on, the 
icon is shown in the display.
Using predictive text
When writing the text, press the button to produce the letter you want e.g. if you want an ‘a’ press 2 , an ‘a’ appears in the handset display. If the letter shown is not the letter you want e.g. you wanted a ‘c’, then you can display all the options under the 2 button by
pressing the | . |
When the letter you want is displayed, press the button for the next letter, the most likely letter under that button will be displayed. Again, if it isn’t the right letter
