Lage kaffe

1.Fyll vannbeholderen med kaldt vann.

Merk: Bruk kannen for å fylle beholderen for å være sikker på at maksimum kapasitet ikke overskrides. Maksimum vannmengde i beholderen er 2,2 liter.

2.Plasser et papirfilter i filterkurven.

3.Mål nødvendig mengde kaffe i papirfilteret og skyv filterkurven i stilling.

4.Plasser kannen på nedre varmeplate under kurven.

5.Slå på strømbryteren for kaffetrakting . Indikatorlampen for kaffetrakting tenner og varmt vann fylles i kannen.

Merk: Damp vil muligens stige opp fra kaffetrakteren og boblelyder kan høres fra kaffetrakteren under bruk. Dette er helt normalt.

6.Når ferdig vil indikatoren for kaffetrakting slå seg av.

ADVARSEL: Glasskannen blir varm under bruk og skal alltid løftes etter håndtaket for å unngå personskade.

7.Hvis nødvendig, la kannen være på varmeplata for å holde den varm. Kast papirfilteret sammen med den brukte kaffen i filterkurven.

8.For å slå at varmeplata, slå av bryteren for kaffetrakting .

Bruke den øvre varmeplata

Kaffetrakteren er utstyrt med to varmeplater for å holde en ekstra kaffekanne varm. For å bruke den andre varmeplaten:

1.Plasser kannen på øvre varmeplate.

2.Slå på bryteren for den øvre varmeplaten .

ADVARSEL: Overflaten rundt varmeplaten kan bli varm. IKKE ta på overflaten! En tom kanne må aldri varmes opp på varmeplaten, og den må heller ikke gå tørr.

Rengjøring, stell og vedlikehold

•Kaffetrakteren skal alltid slås av og strømmen frakoples før rengjøring.

•Bruk såpevann og en fuktig klut for å gjøre kaffetrakteren ren utvendig.

•Tørk grundig etter rengjøring.

Avkalking

På steder hvor det finnes hardt vann kan kalkbelegg bygge seg opp i kaffetrakteren etter langvarig bruk. Slik avkalker du kaffetrakteren:

1.Tøm en oppløsning med avkalkingsmiddel og vann i beholderen.
