Solid Axle Adapter Installation

Remove non-drive (left) side axle nut and retain. If your hub uses non-turn washers, these should remain on the axle. Check exposed axle length by placing Adapter against the dropout (or non-turn washer, if present). If the axle extends beyond the last band, add one or two of the provided washers until the axle does not extend beyond the last band.

Thread on the Adapter and tighten to 30 N·m (22 ft·lb) using a 6mm hex key. Do not over tighten, as this can

damage the Adapter. Install Burley standard hitch onto the Adapter and secure using the axle nut removed earlier. Tighten to 20 N·m (15 ft·lb).
