3.2.3Attaching the Strain Relief Bracket

Attach the strain relief bracket to the front of the STH as follows:

1.Locate the strain relief bracket and four 8-32 x 3/8" screws from the STH-ACCY-KIT package.

Warning: Use of longer screws may cause damage to the unit or electrical shock.

2.Carefully turn the STH upside down.

3.Attach the strain relief bracket to the bottom of the STH as shown in Figure 3-2.

3.2.4Rack-Mounting the STH

Perform these steps to install the STH in a 19-inch rack:

1.Remove the four cover screws (two from each side) located along the front edges of each side of the STH.

2.Using the four cover screws removed in step 1, attach the rack mounting brackets to each side of the STH as shown in Figure 3-3.

3.With the mounting brackets installed, position the STH between the vertical frame members of the 19-inch rack and fasten it securely with

the mounting screws as shown in Figure 3-4.
