Water exercise is a great way to get in shape and stay in shape. The natu- ral buoyancy of your body in water reduces the stress on your weight bearing muscles and joints. During water exercise, nearly 90% of your body weight is supported by water, allowing you to move more easily and improve your flexibility and range of motion. You will also build mus- cle strength as your body works against natural water resistance. As your total body aquatic fitness solution, your Ultimate Fitness spa can be used to cycle through a number of circuit training exercises, such as:

Warming Up

Stretching and soaking in your Cal Spas hot tub before exercising pre- pares your body for a more effective workout. The spa’s warm water pro- motes increased blood circulation to your muscles–easing stiffness and preparing muscles for activity. Warm- ing up before exercising increases your range of motion and flexibility and decreases your risk of injury.

Jogging In Place

Cal Flex exercise equipment includes an adjustable belt with resistance bands for walking, jogging or running in place. Turn on your swim or power workout jets to intensify your workout by working against the current.

Rowing

Increase muscle strength in your back and shoulders by rowing with the Cal Flex Oar attachments. Oars and resis- tance bands to boost your workout are quickly and easily attached to the built- in receptacles on your Fitness spa.
