CD-Text
Audio CDs now include descriptive text stored along with their audio programs. The Radio CD will decode and display this text.
MP3 File ID3 Text Information
MP3 files downloaded from the Internet may contain ID3 text information. ID3 text information can be added to MP3 files as the file is created from an uncom- pressed audio source. The Radio CD will display this text when present in MP3 files. If there is no ID3 text information, the Radio CD will display the file name.
Choosing Text Displays
The JOG menu has separate RDS text and DISC text headings that let you choose between scrolling text display, static text display or no text display.
