COMMON DRAFT MODE PROBLEMS

Grain found in 180 dpi draft modes.

Banding found in low density draft mode.

Canon’s Advanced MicroFine Droplet Technology uses microscopic ink droplets only 5 picolitres in size with High Intensity inks for more vibrant

colours. These are precision placed, enabling 1200 dpi on plain paper and resolution up to 2400 x 1200 dpi on higher quality papers.

The result is smoother colour graduations and improved tonal quality, with sharper lines and edges.
