The imageRUNNER 8500 delivers the exceptional image quality Canon customers have come to expect. With 600 x 600 dpi resolution that is interpolated to 1200 x 600 dpi resolution for copying, and 2400 x 600 for printing, you can always count on getting the sharpest image possible.

Feeder (SADF). Original sets that contain multiple paper sizes can be placed in the ADF for scanning provided that all pages have the same leading-edge width. The SADF is ideal for making copies of heavy- or light-weight originals that should not be subject to the bending that occurs inside the ADF.

The optional 3,500-sheet Side Paper Deck-M1 can be added, increasing overall paper capacity to an unbelievable 7,650 sheets. Automatic paper tray switch- ing and on-the-fly paper reloading further optimize production throughput.
