Shooting – The Basics
Shooting
Images can be shot in the following 2
sequences in Stitch Assist mode.

Turn the Shooting mode dial to
.
zThe LCD monitor will turn on.

Select the
shooting sequence
using the or
button and press
the SET button.
zThe shooting sequence is
set.
zTo shoot landscapes, swivel (pan) the
camera around its own vertical axis.
zTo shoot close-ups, slide the camera over
the subject, keeping it parallel to the subject
as you move it.

zYou can also press the shutter button directly
to shoot without pressing the SET button.

Shoot the first image.
zThe exposure and white balance settings are
set and locked with the first image.

Compose and
shoot the second
image so that it
overlaps the first.
zMinor discrepancies in
the overlapping portions
can be corrected when
the images are stitched
together.
zUse the or button to check or retake the
recorded images.

Use the same procedures to shoot
the remaining images.
zA maximum of 26 images can be recorded.

Press the SET button after the last
shot.
