About MultiStream Functions
If your scanner supports MultiStream functions, you can scan two different types of image data (such as color and black and white or grayscale and black and white) at once, and output the different types of image data for the front and back of a page.
The MultiStream Settings dialog box is available if your scanner supports the MultiStream function, by selecting MultiStream Settings in the Options menu or the Scan Batch to File Setting (→P. 38) dialog box.

Select the Use check box to enable secondary image output.

Select the type (TIFF, BMP, PDF or JPEG) for saving files. However, JPEG is displayed when the Image Format is set to
