Handling Precautions

If the print output receptacle cover comes off, tilt the cover to the LCD monitor side (

)

align the tip of the spring on the left side of the cover with the groove on the printer (

) ,

and then slide the hole on the right side of the cover over the peg on the printer ( ).

 

If the print output receptacle cover is not attached during printing, paper that is finished printing may become jammed inside the printer.

Do not insert foreign objects into the print output receptacle.

zTo prevent malfunctions and damage caused by electromagnetic fields Never position the equipment close to motors or other devices that generate strong electromagnetic fields. Moreover, do not use near televisions or AM radio.

zTo prevent condensation

You can avoid condensation by placing the equipment in an airtight, sealable plastic bag and allow for adjustment to temperature changes gradually before removing from the bag.

In the event that condensation does form within the equipment, keep it at room temperature until the water droplets evaporate naturally before use.
