•The MF indicator is displayed.

•When the menu’s [MF-Point Zoom] is set to [On], the portion of the image in the AF frame will appear magnified*. When the AF mode

(p. 115) is set to [Continuous],

turning the Control Wheel will display the portion magnified. The magnified position will differ depending on the AF Frame Mode (p. 116) setting.

•When set to [Face Detect], [AiAF] or [Center], the center of the LCD monitor is magnified.

•When set to [FlexiZone], the location of the AF frame displayed immediately prior to setting the manual focus will display magnified.

*When using , digital zoom, Digital Tele-Converter or while displaying the image on a TV, the display magnification is not available.

*Can also be set so that the image displayed is not magnified (p. 49).

•Depending on the shooting mode, pressing the button will switch between the setting items as follows:
