Setting the White Balance

Adjust the white balance settings to respond to shooting conditions when you are recording outdoors or under artificial illumination.

1Turn the Mode Dial to the , or position.

2Press the button once to display the exposure compensation settings and a second time to display the white balance settings.

3Use the and buttons to select a white balance mode.

You can record anytime by pressing the shutter button.

Press the button or the SET button to close the white balance settings bar. The chosen white balance mode will be in effect thereafter until it is changed.

This setting is maintained even after the

Mode Dial is turned. (The icon will appear in the Display panel and the selected white balance icon will appear in the LCD monitor.)

In (Stitch Assist) mode, the setting can only be adjusted for the first image.
