When your phone rings,
the TC-520 will answer the
call (be sure the base unit
is on.) You can hear your
outgoing message and
your caller's message
through the speaker in the
base unit.
BASE CALL SCREENING & PLA
MESSAGE INDICATOR
The
MESSAGE INDICATOR
has four
settings:
1. ON = the answering machine is on.
2. OFF = the answering machine is off.
3. NEW MESSAGE INDICATOR =
the light flashes rapidly when new messages
have been recorded and not played.
4. SAVED MESSAGE INDICATOR = the light
flashes slowly when messages have been
played and saved or when pausing message
playback.

1Adjust the
VOLUME CONTROL
(located on the right side.)
2Pick up the cordless handset and press
TALK
or press
SPEAKERPHONE
on the base if you want to speak to your
caller. The machine will automatically
stop recording.
3To hang up, press
TALK
or return the
handset to the base unit. The tape will
automatically reset to record new calls.
