心拍数管理によるトレーニング

人の心拍数は、一般に運動によって高くなります。同一人においては、運動レベルと心拍数はほ ぼ比例関係にあり、心拍数は運動レベルの大変よい指標です。従って、心拍数を設定してその 心拍数を維持するように運動するトレーニング方法は、科学的なトレーニング方法であり、一般 の人の健康増進から一流選手のトレーニングまで広く応用できます。なお、トレーニングを開始 する前に、医師または専門トレーナーへの相談をお勧めします。

1.一般の健康増進のためのトレーニング

自転車による運動を通じて健康増進を図る目的のトレーニングは、あなたの体力に応じて運 動レベル30%から70%位までの間で目標心拍数(ターゲットゾーン)を決め、週に3回以上、

120分以上、できれば30分以上実施してください。運動レベルと心拍数の関係は、下図を参

考に目標心拍数を求めてご利用ください。

初心者は、30%前後の運動レベルからトレーニングを始め、慣れてきたら徐々に運動レベル を強くしていきます。70%位の運動レベルでトレーニングできるようになれば十分です。 肥満対策のトレーニングとしては、比較的弱い運動レベルの目標心拍数で、できるだけ長時 間できれば1時間以上実施してください。
