Using uninstall-ar to Remove Linux Software

The Linux version of Cisco AR software includes the uninstall-arprogram in /opt/CSCOar/bin that you use to remove Cisco AR software on Linux machines.

Note If you currently use the 3.5.2 Linux version, the uninstall-arprogram removes /opt/CSCOar/data. Before you run the uninstall-arprogram, copy the /opt/CSCOar/data directory to a temporary location such as /tmp. After you install the upgrade software, move the data directory back to /opt/CSCOar/data.

Step 1 Log in to the Cisco AR workstation as a root user.

Step 2 To remove the Linux version of Cisco AR software, change directory to /opt/CSCOar/bin and start the uninstall-arprogram as follows:

cd /opt/CSCOar/bin

uninstall-ar
