Yourwireless handheld portable transceiver contains a low power

transmitter.When the talk button is pushed, it sends out radio

frequency(RF) signals. The device is authorized to operate at

aduty factor not to exceed 50%. In August 1996, the Federal

CommunicationsCommission (FCC) adopted RF exposure guidelines

withsafety levels for handheld wireless devices.

hasbeen tested and meets the FCC RF exposure guidelines when used

withCobra accessories supplied or designated for this product. Use of

modifications,or attachments could damage the transmitter and may

Yournew Cobra GMRS radios and charger are covered by a one-year

replacementwarranty. If any manufacturing defect becomes apparent in

thisproduct within one year from the original date of purchase, it will be

replaced.Please return the GMRS radio or charger to your dealer with

originalor copy of dated proof of purchase. This warranty does not cover

damagesdueto careless handling,negligence, accident,abuse or failure to

followoperating instructions. Alteration of this product or defacing of the

serialnumber cancels all obligations of this warranty. This warranty gives

youspecified legal rights. Additional warranty rights may be provided by

lawin some areas.

ForProducts Purchased in the U.S.A.

CobraElectronics Corporation warrants that its Cobra GMRS radios and

charger,and the compon ent parts thereof, will be free of defects in

workmanshipand materials for a period of one year from the date of first

consumerpurchase. This warranty may be enforced by the first consumer

purchaser,provided that the product is utilized within the U.S.A.

Cobrawill, without charge, repair or replace, at its option, defective GMRS

radios,chargers, products or component parts upon delivery to the Cobra

FactoryService department, accompanied by proof of the date of first

consumerpurchase, such as a duplicated copy of a sales receipt.

Youmust pay any initial shipping charges required to ship the product for

warrantyservice, but the return charges will be at Cobra’s expense, if the

productis repaired or replaced under warranty. This warranty gives you

specificlegal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary

fromstate to state.

Exclusions:This limited warranty does not apply: 1) To any product

damagedby accident; 2) In the event of misuse or abuse of the product

oras a result of unauthorized alterations or repairs; 3) If the serial number

hasbeen altered, defaced, or removed; 4) If the owner of the product

residesoutside the U.S.A.

Allimplied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness

fora particular purpose are limited in duration to the length of this

warranty.Cobra shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential or

otherdamages; including, without limitation, damages resulting from

lossof use or cost of installation.

Somestates do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty

lastsand/or do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or

consequentialdamages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
