Problem

Possible Cause

Solution

 

 

 

Burner won’t light

Cylinder valve is closed

Open valve

 

 

 

 

Gas pressure is low

Turn Cylinder valve OFF and replace cylinder

 

 

 

 

Air in gas line

Burner may take 20 seconds to light after a propane bottle

 

 

has been connected

 

 

 

 

Low gas pressure with Cylinder Valve

Cylinder is empty. Replace cylinder

 

fully open

 

 

 

 

 

Igniter fails

Replace AAA Battery

 

 

 

 

Improper purging of new 20 lb. cylinder

Attach cylinder to other appliance (Grill) to purge

 

 

air from line.

 

 

 

Burner won’t stay lit

Gas pressure is low

Turn Cylinder valve OFF and replace cylinder

 

 

 

 

Outdoor temperature is less than 40° F

Use a full cylinder

 

and tank is less than 1/4 full

 

 

Supply hose is bent or kinked

Straighten hose

 

 

 

Adhesive Panels

Panels exposed to direct sunlight

Move out of direct sunlight. If desired, replace.

Service

Repair to gas passages and associated components should be done only by a qualified service person.

Owner repair & service should be limited and performed only to the following:

-Octenol Lure replacement

-Adhesive Trap replacement

-Cylinder replacement

-Listed parts replacement (See Replacement Parts List)

-Routine Cleaning
