half duplex transmission with flow control. In addition, PS2208B supports | |||

mode between two nodes. Unlike Hubs or Repeaters of which the 100Mbps bandwidth is shared among the ports, PS2208B is designed with a backplane of 1.6Gbps, allowing all 8 nodes to perform at full performance. Moreover, PS2208B forwards the incoming packets only to the related ports, avoiding collisions commonly seen in a Hub or Repeater.
