If the cord or dryer is damaged or does not opera te properly, return it for repair to an au thorized Conair
service representative only. No repair s should be attempted by the consumer.
STORAGE - Important
When not in use, your dryer should be disconnect ed, allowed to cool and stored in a safe, dr y location, out of
reach of children. Do not wrap line cord around dr yer. Allow the cord to hang or lie loose and str aight at the
point of entry into the dryer.
USER MAINTENANCE
Your dryer is virtually maintenance free. No lubri cation is needed. For proper opera ting performance, the dryer
must be kept clean.
When cleaning is needed, unplug the cord, allow to cool and cl ean dust and lint from air intake openings wi th
a small brush or the brush attachment of a vac uum cleaner. The outer surface of the dr yer should be wiped
clean with a cloth only.
Blocked or clogged air intake vents will cause the dr yer to overheat. If overheating occu rs, an automatic
safety device will shut the dryer or the heat o ff to prevent damage or personal injur y. If the unit or the heat
turns off, unplug the cord and allow the drye r to cool for 10 to 15 minutes before restar ting. Make sure the air
vents are clean.

CAUTION

NEVER allow the power supply cord to be p ulled, twisted, or severely bent . Never wrap the cord tightly aro und
the dryer. Damage will occur at the high fl ex point of entry into the dryer, causing it to rupture and shor t.
Inspect the cord frequently for damag e. Stop use immediately if damage i s visible or unit stops or
operates intermittently.
