INSTRUCTIONS ON MAKING

ESPRESSO COFFEE

The preparation of espresso coffee involves hot water being forced through finely grounded coffee under high pressure. This gives the espresso coffee its aromatic and strong taste. It is essential to use a high quality roasted bean with the correct grinding.

Make sure control knob if set to OFF

Fill the detachable permanent filter with coffee grounds to the required level

and pack down firmly. Do not over-fill the filter cone as this may cause unit to work incorrectly.

Place filter cone in the filter holder

Pull the buckle backwards and open it, align the coffee box underneath of

the symbol ”“, then hold it upwards and turn right towards position

Lock”, the coffee box will be locked there, the buckle shall also be tightened.

Never install the coffee box in any other position.

Open the lid for the water tank

Fill the coffee pot with required amount of water and pour the water into the water tank

Close the lid of the water tank

Check that the steam control regulator is closed

Place the coffee pot under the filter holder

Set the function knob to the “ ” position, the indictor light should then light up and the espresso maker will start to work

When all the water has run through the filter into the coffee pot, set the function knob to the “OFF” position and unplug the unit from the power supply

CAUTION:

While the water is passing through the coffee grains,

DO NOT remove the filter nor open the lid.This is a pressured device, DO NOT open the top cover while unit is working or has not cooled completely. Only after the steam comes out, then can the cover can be opened safely. Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing cycles.
