MANTEL CLEARANCES:

Option 1: When installing the unit without the gravity duct kit the mantel must be at least 71” from the base of the unit.

Option 2: When installing the unit with the optional gravity duct kit the mantel must be at least 55 inches from the bottom of the unit.

Option 3: When installing a brick/stone facing protruding 3 ½ inches from the front of the unit, the mantel must be at least 59 inches from the base of the unit.

Option 4: When installing the unit using the optional hot air block –off kit and the gravity duct kit, the mantel must be at least 45 inches from the bottom of the unit.

MOBILE HOME INSTALLATION AND CEARANCES:

The Inglenook Fireplace has been tested and approved for installation in mobile homes. It is important to follow additional installation requirements associated with mobile home installation. Then Inglenook Fireplace must be securely fastened to the floor of the mobile home using the system provided by Country Flame. Figure 16 demonstrates the recommended “tie down” points for use in securing the Inglenook Fireplace to a mobile home floor. In addition, the Inglenook Fireplace should NEVER BE INSTALLED IN THE SLEEPING AREA OF ANY MOBILE HOME. Also, the structural integrity of the mobile home floor, wall, ceiling, and roof must be maintained during the installation of an Inglenook Fireplace in a mobile home application. If there are any questions concerning mobile home installation, contact your local Country Flame dealer and adhere to all local codes concerning mobile home installation.
