
HOT AIR DUCT INSTALLATION
There are many different types of hot air ducting systems in the marketplace today. Only a hot air duct system that has been specifically safety tested with the Inglenook Fireplace is authorized for use with this product. Country Flame Technologies has safety tested the following kit:

The hot air duct kit allows blockage of the upper grill of the Inglenook Fireplace. If the upper fireplace grill is blocked on the Inglenook, the hot air duct kit cannot be terminated as a floor register due to excessive heat output. To block the upper grill follow these simple steps:
a)Remove the upper fireplace grill.
b)Install the black flat panel. No insulation strip is to be installed inside grill area.

When installing the double outlet hot air duct kit system, the air outlets may be installed in the same room as the fireplace. Or, the outlets may each be installed in different adjacent or upper rooms. If the air outlets are at different elevations, the higher outlet will tend to exhaust more heat. Figure 18 shows such a configuration.
