Change oil
•Change oil if it has not been changed in the last three months.
Clean engine
•Clean engine and remove all grass clippings, dirt, and chaff from the exterior of the engine, Remove any dirt or debris that may have accumulated on the cooling fins, intake screen levers, and linkages.
OTHER
Do not store gasoline from one season to another. Replace your gasoline can if it starts to rust. Rust and/or dirt in the gasoline will cause problems.
Store unit in a clean, dry area. Do not store next to corrosive materials, such as fertilizer.
NOTE: If storing in an unventilated or metal storage shed, be certain to rustproof the equipment by coating with a light off or silicone.
