Indicates danger, warning, or caution. May be used in conjunction with other symbols or pictographs.
• READ OPERATOR'S MANUAL
WARNING: Read the
Operator’s Manual(s) and follow all warnings and safety instructions. Failure to do so can result in serious injury to the operator and/or bystanders.
• WEAR EYE, HEARING AND HARD- HAT PROTECTION
WARNING: Thrown
objects and loud noise can cause severe eye injury and hearing loss. Wear eye protection meeting ANSI
operating this unit. Wear a hard hat. Use a full face shield when needed.
MEANING
•GUIDE BAR WARNING: Contact of the guide bar tip with any object should be avoided. Tip contact may cause the guide bar to move suddenly upward and backward, which may cause serious injury. Avoid bar nose contact.
•USE BOTH HANDS
Always use both hands while operat- ing the chain saw. Never use only one hand to operate the saw.
•DOUBLE INSULATED
Two systems of insulation are pro- vided instead of grounding. There is no grounding provided and no means of grounding should be added to this unit.
•DO NOT USE IN THE RAIN
WARNING: Avoid danger- ous environments. Never operate your unit in the rain, or in damp or wet conditions. Moisture is a shock hazard.
