nalsbyallowingawrenchoranyotherobject to contactbothterminalsat the sametime,

Before connectingbattery, remove metal

bracelets,wristwatchbands,rings,etc. Positiveterminalmustbeconnectedfirst to

preventsparkingfrom accidentalground- ing.

1. Liftseatpanto raisedposition,,

2, DisconnectBLACK battery cable first then RED battery cable and carefully removebatteryfromtractor.

3.Installnewbatterywithterminalsinsame positionas old battery°

4.FirstconnectREDbatterycableto posi- tive (+)terminalwith hex bolt and keps

nut as shown. Tighten securely.Slide terminalcoveroverterminal

3Replacebulb in holder and push bulb holdersecurelybackintotheholeinthe

backsideof the grill. 4, Closehood.

TO REPLACEFUSE

Replacewith 20ampautomotive4ypeplug- in fuse_ Thefuse holderis located behind

the dash.

TO REMOVE HOOD AND GRILL AS-

SEMBLY

1o Raise hoo&

2.Unsnap headlight wire connector.

3_ Stand in front of tractor. Grasp hood at

sides, tilt toward engine and lift off of tractor.

4_ When replacing hood, be sure to recon- nect the headlight wire connector.

5, Connect BLACK grounding cable to negative(-)terminalwith remaininghex bolt andkepsnut.Tightensecurely.

TO REPLACE HEADLIGHT BULB 1, Raise hood.

2.Pull bulb holder out of the hole in the

backside of the grill.

TO ADJUST THROTTLE CONTROL CABLE

The throttle control has been preset at the factory and adjustment should not be neces- sary. Check adjustment as described below before loosening cable, If adjustment is necessary, proceed as follows:

1.With engine not running, move throttle control lever from slow to choke position, Slowly move lever from choke to fast position,
