Unbalanced operation: If you are using a phantom power supply that does NOT include an isolation transformer, and you desire an unbalanced output, use pin 2 as hot and pin 1 as ground. If the microphone does not function properly, check to verify that it is aimed correctly and is connected as described in the Operating Instruc- tions. If there is hum or no signal, repair or replace the cable.
