CRÊME CARAMEL SHAKE

Makes 48 ounces

1cup mango chunks (1"pieces), about 8 ounces

1 medium banana, cut in 1" pieces

1cup orange, apple or other fruit juice

1cup soy milk/beverage

1tablespoon vanilla extract

1cup silken tofu, cut into 1" pieces

2cups frozen strawberries (do not thaw)

Place all ingredients in blender jar in order listed. Set on High and blend until smooth and creamy, about 20 seconds. Serve immediately or refrigerate.

2cups “light” vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt

3tablespoons caramel syrup

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Place all ingredients in blender jar in order listed; cover blender jar. Set on High. Blend until smooth, creamy and thick, about 40 to 50 seconds. Serve immediately in tall glasses with straws.

Chocolate frozen yogurt and bananas are combined to make this creamy shake.

2 cups lowfat milk

2bananas, peeled, cut into 1" pieces

2cups lowfat chocolate frozen yogurt

2tablespoons chocolate syrup

Place all ingredients in blender jar in order listed; cover blender jar. Set on High and blend until smooth, creamy and thickened, about 40 to 50 seconds. Serve immediately in tall glasses with straws.

8ounces espresso or double strength coffee, chilled *

1/4 cup chocolate sauce

2tablespoons flavored syrup – vanilla, hazelnut, almond, raspberry, etc.

15 ice cubes

Place all ingredients in blender jar in order listed. Cover blender jar. Set on High and

blend until smooth and slushy, about 30 to 40 seconds. Serve immediately in tall glasses. Garnish with a dollop of whipped cream if desired.

You can make Margaritas and other frozen drinks with ease with your Cuisinart Blender – try this refreshing Mango Margarita,

or use your own special recipe.

Makes 6 servings

2cups mango cubes (fresh or frozen, partially thawed)

1/2 cup Tequila

1/3 cup Triple Sec or Cointreau 1/3 cup fresh lime juice

4tablespoons superfine sugar

2cups ice cubes

Place all ingredients in blender jar in order listed. Place cover on blender jar. Blend on High for 30 to 40 seconds until the mixture is smooth and slushy in texture. Turn blender off. Serve immediately.
