Usually, a printer is connected to the parallel port. The CPEX series includes an on-board parallel port, accessed via a 26-pin flat-cable connector LPT.

The CPEX series offers two high speed NS16C550 compatible UART’s with 16-byte Read/Receive FIFO serial ports.
