Before Using Your Freezer

Remove packing materials:

Remove materials, tape and labels before using the freezer.

Do not use sharp instruments, rubbing alco- hol, flammable fluids or abrasive cleaners. These can damage the material.

Clean your freezer before using it:

1.Use a sponge, cloth or paper towel and mild detergent in warm water to clean outside and inside of freezer, door liner and gasket.

2.Rinse and dry thoroughly.

Handle Installation (some models)

Remove door handle screws. Install screws and door handle on side of door.

Locate Proper Electrical Supply:

Recommended Grounded Method:

A 115 Volt, 60 Hz., AC only 15 or 20 ampere fused and properly grounded electrical supply is required. It is recommended that a separate circuit serving only this appliance be provided.

Use a receptacle which cannot be turned off with a switch. Do not use an extension cord.

Choose freezer location:

1.Pick a safe place, indoors, away from flammables such as gasoline.

2.Check the strength of the floor. It should hold the weight of a fully loaded freezer.

3.Allow at least 3 inches (7.5cm) between top of freezer and the wall.

4.Allow at least 1 inch (2.5cm) between back of freezer and the wall.

5.Allow 3 inches (7.5cm) on each side of the freezer for ease of installation.

6.If the freezer is to be against a wall, you might want to leave extra space on the hinge side so the door can be opened wider.

Install freezer:

1.Locate the two front levelling legs inside the freezer.

2.Screw these legs into the front holes on the bottom of the freezer. The back of the freezer rests on two fixed supports.

3.Adjust the two front legs so freezer does not rock.

2.Bien rincer et sécher complètement.

Installation de poignée (certains modèles)

Enlever les vis de poignée. Remonter la poignée et la vis au côté de la porte.

Circuit électrique :

Méthode de mise à la terre recommandée:

Il est essentiel de brancher l’appareil à un circuit unique, ne desservant que le congélateur. Le circuit électrique doit être de 115 volts, 60 cycles sur fusible de 15 ou 20 ampères avec mise à la terre appropriée.

Utiliser un branchement mural qui ne soit pas activé par un interrupteur. Ne jamais utiliser de rallonge électrique.

1.Prendre dans l’congélateur les deux pattes de nivellement.

2.Les visser dans les orifices qui se trouvent à l’avant et en dessous du congélateur. L’arrière du congélateur repose sur deux supports fixes.

3.Régler les deux pattes avant de façon à ce que le congélateur soit stable.
