Bi-Wiring

The concept of bi-wiring is that higher sonic performance (greater inner detail, higher definition, increased transparency and improved depth) is achieved by utilizing two sets of wires to connect each loudspeaker to its respective channel of your amplifier or receiver.

If you choose this method of hook-up, follow these instructions:

For bi-wiring: (See Diagram # 2) Remove both the jumpers between the low/mid and high terminals on each speaker. Then take care to ensure that both the red (+) high and red (+) mid terminals of the left speaker are connected to the red (+) terminal of the left channel of your amplifier (each using one conductor of each of the two sets of wires for the left channel) and that both the black (-) high and black (-) low/mid terminals of the left speaker are connected to the black (-) terminal of the left channel of your amplifier using the other conductor of each of the two sets of wires for the left channel. Utilize the same hook-up procedure for the right channel.

BP7001SC, BP7000SC specifications

Definitive Technology has long been synonymous with premium audio performance, and their BP7001SC and BP7000SC speaker models continue this legacy with impressive specifications and groundbreaking technologies. Both models are designed to provide a powerful and immersive listening experience, ideal for audiophiles and casual listeners alike.

The BP7001SC is a floor-standing speaker that boasts a beautiful design featuring a sleek, modern look. It incorporates Definitive Technology’s proprietary Balanced Dual Surround System technology, which enhances sound dispersion and ensures a wider soundstage. The BP7001SC is equipped with a 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter and a 5.25-inch midrange driver, delivering crystal-clear highs and rich mids that bring your music to life.

In contrast, the BP7000SC offers similar aesthetics and technology but pairs down some specifications for a more accessible price point without sacrificing sound quality. This model uses the same 1-inch tweeter but integrates a 6.5-inch midrange driver for enhanced performance. The combination of high-quality components ensures that both models produce a balanced sound profile, perfect for movies, music, and gaming.

One of the standout features of these models is their Integrated Powered Subwoofer. The BP7001SC comes with a built-in 250-watt amplifier paired with a 12-inch subwoofer, which produces deep bass notes that resonate in any room. This is particularly advantageous for home theater setups where low-end frequencies play a crucial role. The BP7000SC, while lacking the same power output, still offers impressive bass and is perfect for smaller spaces.

The speakers also feature Definitive Technology's Forward-focused Acoustic Array technology, which utilizes advanced driver placement and a wide dispersion pattern to create a dynamic and enveloping audio experience. This design ensures that listeners can enjoy the full spectrum of sound regardless of their position in the room.

Both the BP7001SC and BP7000SC are constructed with high-quality materials that not only enhance their aesthetic appeal but also contribute to durability and longevity. They offer various connectivity options, making them compatible with a range of audio systems.

Whether in a dedicated home theater or part of a multiroom audio system, the Definitive Technology BP7001SC and BP7000SC deliver exceptional sound quality and performance. With their state-of-the-art technology and attention to detail, these speakers remain a top choice for those seeking an elevated audio experience.
