Switchable Graphics
The switchable graphics feature allows you to switch to either the High-performance or Power-
saving Graphic Processing Unit (GPU) available on your computer.
Using the Power-saving GPU ensures lesser power consumption and extends the battery life. You
can switch to the High-performance GPU when running graphic-intensive applications that require
more power, such as 3D games.
To switch between High-performance GPU and Power-saving GPU:
Right-click the desktop.1.
Click 2. Configure Switchable Graphics.
The Switchable Graphics window appears.
In the 3. Choose a Graphic Processing Unit: section, click either High-Performance GPU or
Power-Saving GPU based on your preference.
Click 4. Change to confirm.
Click 5. OK to close the Switchable Graphics window.
