Connection to devices equipped with Dock Control

The ASD-51N can be operated remotely using the supplied remote control. By connecting to your existing equipment, you can play back your favourite music and video files from your iPod or from over a network.

When the DOCK CONTROL jack is connected, the ASD-51N no longer accepts remote control commands.To use the remote control unit, point it at the remote control sensor on the connected device when operating it.

Only connect equipment which is compatible with the DOCK CONTROL jack to the DOCK CONTROL jack of the ASD-51N. Connecting non-compatible equipment will result in a malfunction.
