Setting the learning function
•If your AV device is a brand other than DENON or if operation is not possible using the preset memory function, the signals of a remote control unit of that device can be stored in the AVR- 2807’s remote control unit.
•For some remote control units, it may not be possible to learn the signals or the device may not operate properly after the signals are learnt. In this case, use the remote control unit of that device.
1 Press [USE/LEARN] with the tip of a pen etc., to set the learn mode.
• [MODE SELECTOR] and the “LEARNED/TX” indicator blinks.
2 Press [MODE SELECTOR] for the device to be operated.
• [MODE SELECTOR] and the “LEARNED/TX” indicator blinks.
3 Press the button to be set.
• The “LEARNED/TX” indicator stops blinking and [MODE SELECTOR] lights.
If a button that cannot be learnt is pressed, [MODE SELECTOR] and the “LEARNED/TX” indicator blinks.

•[MODE SELECTOR] and the “LEARNED/TX” indicator blinks again.
Other buttons can be learnt by repeating steps 2 ~ 5.
6 Press [USE/LEARN].
•To cancel the learning function mode, press [USE/LEARN].
•If the codes could not be stored, the “LEARNED/TX” indicator start flashing rapidly. For limited number of models, codes cannot be stored in
•If [MODE SELECTOR] and the “LEARNED/TX” indicator start flashing rapidly, this means that the memory is already full, and the code you have just attempted to store was not stored.
To “learn” that code, first perform the resetting operation ( page 65).

Using the system call function
•A series of operations can be registered at a single button.
•This function makes it possible to for example turn the amplifier’s power on, select the input source, turn the monitor power’s on, turn the source device’s power on and start playback, all by pressing a single button once.
•Up to 10 signals each can be stored at [SYSTEM CALL] (1 or 2).
Registering
1 Press [ON/SOURCE] and [POWER OFF] at the
same time.
• The “LEARNED/TX” indicator blinks.
2 Press [SYSTEM CALL 1] for which you want to register the operations.
• [MODE SELECTOR] and the “LEARNED/TX” indicator blinks.
3 Press [MODE SELECTOR] for the device to be operated.
4 Press the buttons you want to register in the order of the operations to be performed.
Example: Press [ON].

Press [CD] of [MODE SELECTOR].
↓
Press [1].
Repeat steps 3, 4 to register the desired buttons.
5 Press [SYSTEM CALL] (1 or 2).
Operating
Press [SYSTEM CALL] (1 or 2) at which the operation are registered.
• The stored signals are transmitted successively.
