The thermal cut-out will operate and the power supply to the heating element will be interrupted if ventilation of the heater is impaired.

Before resetting the thermal cut-out, the cause of the impaired ventilation should be established and eliminated.

Procedure for resetting cut-out

1.Disconnect power supply.

2.Remove the guard.

3.Remove the terminal cover to access the thermal cut-out - see Fig. 2.

4.Press the reset tab located in the centre of the cut-out (cut-out clicks when reset) - see ‘x’ in Fig. 2.

5.Re-fit the terminal cover and reconnect power supply.

6.Re-fit the guard.

If the cut-out continues to operate intermittently, the heater should be switched off and a service agent contacted.

Cleaning and User Maintenance

WARNING: DISCONNECT SUPPLY before carrying out maintenance.

The heater should be subject to a regular maintenance schedule with the following actions as a minimum:

·Check that the heater surfaces are clean and free from any deposits. The heater can be cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth. Neither abrasive cleaning powders nor furniture polish should be used.

·The internal wiring shall be clean and dry, with no apparent deterioration of the wiring insulation.

·All connections shall be tight, without signs of overheating.

Recycling

For electrical products sold within the European Community. At the end of the electrical products useful life it should not be disposed of with household waste.

Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your Local Authority or retailer for recycling advice in your country.
