	Troubleshooting - General
Problem	Cause	Action
Unit will not turn	Yellow wire not connected or incorrect	Check connections for proper
	voltage. Red wire not connected or
on		voltage (11~16VDC)
	incorrect voltage
(no power)
	Black wire not connected	Check connection to ground
	Fuse blown	Replace fuse
Unit has power	Speaker wires not connected	Check connections at speakers
	One or more speaker wires touching	Insulate all bare speaker wires
(but no sound)
	each other or touching chassis ground	from each other and chassis ground
	Yellow or red wire touching chassis	Check for pinched wire
	ground
Unit blows fuses
	Speaker wires touching chassis ground	Check for pinched wire
	Incorrect fuse rating	Use fuse with correct rating
	Unit is not mounted correctly or	Check mounting sleeve and
Excessive skipping	backstrap is not secure	backstrap support
	Physical defect in media (CD, CD-R or	Check media for scratches
	CD-RW)
ERROR-01 appears	Disc read error	Press EJECT or RESET
on display
ERROR-02 appears	Focus error or disc is in upside down	Press EJECT or RESET
on display
	CD mechanism position out of	Press and hold EJECT for 3
