REMOTE CONTROL OPERATION

The VS4 comes with two remote controls. The “Simple” remote can be used to turn the VS4 unit on or off as well as select between the input sources.

The “Professional” remote control enables discrete command functions of the product.

The discrete IR commands available on the Professional remote control unit are:

-Power On/Off toggle

-Input 1, 2, 3, or 4 direct select

-Input Select Up

-Input Select Down

-Auto Input Select

-Front Panel Display On

-Front Panel Display Off

AUTOMATIC SOURCE SELECTION

The VS4 HDMI switch can automatically detect when an input device is powered- on or powered-off. Using this information, the VS4 will automatically select the first input device which is powered-on. To make use of this feature, keep at most one input device powered-on at any given time. This will allow the VS4 to automati- cally select the appropriate input device.
