To select the aspect ratio:

1Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens.

3Press or to highlight Zoom Mode, then press or to select the aspect ratio. You can select:

•Normal—Selects the aspect ratio to match the video source’s image (4:3 or 16:9).

•Wide—Displays the video image full screen.

•Zoom—Enlarges the video image. The bottom and top of the image may be cropped.

•Cinema—Stretches the video image to fill the screen while

maintaining a clear image in the middle of the screen.

4Press EXIT to close the menu.

Turning closed captioning on or off

To turn closed captioning on or off:

1Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens.

4Press or to highlight CC Mode, then press or to select the CC mode. You can select On (turns on closed captioning), CC on Mute (turns on closed captioning when the sound is muted), or Off (turns off closed captioning).

5Press EXIT to close the menu.

Note: You can also press CCD to turn closed captioning on or off.
