DESCRIPTION

The SB products are EAW's premium subwoofers designed for the most demanding professional applications. A broad range of capabilities and sizes provide the designer with selections that can be specifically matched to their application. Top quality drivers, engineered by EAW, provide the highest output and best sonic performance possible for a given form factor. All SB models are direct radiating, with optimally tuned, vented enclosures. SB subwoofers are the choice where the best sonic performance, highest reliability, and most robust physical construction are required.

The SB250zR is a high output, mid-size subwoofer system. This versatile, all-purpose subwoofer is designed for portable use where the solid-sounding output of dual 15 inch drivers is desired. The SB250zR works well with most full-range loudspeakers in a variety of applications including: band/club PA, small houses of worship, small auditoriums/theaters, A/V systems, hotel ballrooms, meeting rooms, classrooms, exhibit areas, f/x reinforcement, cruise ships, small dance clubs, DJ monitoring, and drum-fill monitoring.

The SB250zR is designed to be used with today's sophisticated digital signal processing to optimize the LF response. EAW's MX Series processors are recommended for the required crossover and equalization.

EAW SB250zR specifications Description, Dual 15 Inch Subwoofer

SB250zR specifications

The EAW SB250zR is a groundbreaking addition to the world of professional audio systems, designed to meet the demands of modern sound reinforcement applications. This high-performance subwoofer is engineered to deliver powerful low-frequency output while maintaining clarity and precision, making it an ideal choice for live events, concerts, and installations.

One of the standout features of the SB250zR is its robust construction. Built with a durable plywood enclosure, this subwoofer is not only lightweight but also able to withstand the rigors of touring and variable environments. The high-quality finish and rugged design ensure that the SB250zR can handle the physical demands of both permanent and portable applications without compromising on sound quality.

At the heart of the SB250zR lies its custom-engineered drivers. The subwoofer is equipped with dual 15-inch woofers, which provide a remarkable power handling capacity and deliver deep, resonant bass. These woofers are designed using advanced materials and construction techniques to achieve a high level of efficiency and minimal distortion, ensuring that low frequencies are reproduced accurately and effectively.

The SB250zR also features an innovative passive radiator design. This technology enhances the acoustic performance by allowing the enclosure to produce deeper bass without the need for additional amplification. The passive radiator adds a level of low-end extension, making it possible for the SB250zR to reach down to the critical sub-bass frequencies that are often lacking in traditional subwoofer designs.

Integration is seamless with the SB250zR due to its versatile connectivity options. The subwoofer is designed to work harmoniously with a range of amplifiers and sound systems, featuring both full-range and low-frequency outputs. This flexibility allows for easy setup and configuration in any audio environment, whether it’s a mobile setup or a permanent installation.

The EAW SB250zR is engineered with the modern audio professional in mind. With its powerful performance, durable build, and advanced technologies, it sets a new standard in subwoofer design. Whether you're looking to enhance a live sound experience or install a reliable low-frequency solution in a fixed venue, the SB250zR provides the performance and quality to meet and exceed expectations.
