ECLIPSE’s proven theft-deterrent measure works with a user-designated CD or a Memory Stick, depending on the AVN model, to control system activation. The selected media can be set to be a key device that the system must recognize

before it will activate. Without the key device, the system remains locked and will not operate. When the vehicle’s engine is off, an indicator will continually flash. The AVN5495 uses a Memory Stick and the AVN5435 uses a CD.
