The WEP keys ar e used t o encr ypt data
transmitted in the wireless network. Fill the tex t
box by fol lowing the r ules b elow.
64-bit WEP: in put 10-di git H ex val ues (i n the
“A-F” , “a-f” and “0-9” rang e) or 5- digit A SCII
charact er as t he encr yption keys.
128-bit WEP: i nput 2 6-digi t Hex values (i n the
“A-F” , “a-f” and “0-9” rang e) or 1 3-dig it ASCII
charact ers as t he encr yption keys.

Key Select on e of t he four keys t o encr ypt your
data. O nly the key you selec t it in the “D efault
key” will take effect.
Click Apply butt on at the botto m of t he scr een to s ave t he
above co nfigur ations . You c an no w config ure ot her ad vance
sections or st art using the Access Point .
802.1x
IEEE 802.1 x is an a uthenti cation pro tocol. E very user must
use a valid account to login to this Access Point before
accessing the wirel ess LAN . T he aut henti cati on is proc es s ed
by a RADIU S ser ver. Yo u can us e an exter nal RADIU S ser ver
or use th e RADIU S ser ver bui lt-i n with t he Acces s Poin t. This
mode onl y authe nticat es us er by IEE E 802. 1x, but it d oes not
encrypti o n the da t a dur i ng comm uni c atio n.
