Preset Modes for Optimum Viewing

Text, sRGB, and Custom (user-defined) imag- ing modes come as standard with all models. The FlexScan S1932 also includes Picture, Movie, and CAD modes for further functionality.

Image Mode Assignment

A USB upstream port allows the use of EIZO’s ScreenManager Pro for LCD software. With this software, you can adjust color, screen, and volume settings with the mouse or keyboard. You can also use it to assign any of the monitor’s imaging modes such as Text or sRGB to a particular application so that when the application is activated, the screen automatically changes to the assigned mode. (A USB upstream port is standard with the S1932 and op- tional with the S1921 and S1721.)

Optimized Brightness with BrightRegulator

A sensor on the front of the

monitor measures ambient light and optimizes the screen’s brightness

to levels akin to viewing a sheet of paper under typi- cal office lighting conditions. Since the screen is never too bright, eye strain is reduced and energy is saved.

Brightness Stabilization

At startup or upon wakeup, an EIZO-patented drift correction function quickly stabilizes the brightness level. In addition, a sensor measures the backlight brightness and compensates for bright- ness fluctuations caused by the ambient tempera- ture and the passage of time (FlexScan S1932, S1921, and S1721).

10-Bit Gamma Correction

Automatically takes 8-bit input signals (256 tones

for each primary color) from the graphics board

and uses a 10-bit look-up

table (1,021 tones) to produce smoother, more ac- curate gradations of color (FlexScan S1932, S1921, S1721, and S1701).
