Standard guarantee conditions
We,Electrolux,undertakethatifwithin 12 monthsof
the date of the purchasethisElectroluxappliance or
anypart thereofisproved to be defective byreason
onlyof faultworkmanship or materials,wewill,atour
optionrepairor replacethe sameFREE OFCHARGE
forlabour,materialsorcarriageon condition that:
STheappliance hasbeen correctlyinstalled and used
onlyon the electricity supply stated on the rating
plate.
SThe appliance hasbeen used fornormaldomestic
purposesonly,and in accordancewiththe manu-
facturer’sinstructions.
SThe appliance hasnotbeen serviced,maintained
repared, taken apartortampered with anyperson
notauthorised byus.
SAll serviceworkunderthisguarantee mustbe
undertakenbyan ElectroluxServiceForceCentre.
SAnyappliance ordefective partreplaced shall
becometoCompany’sproperty.
SThisguarantee isin addition toyourstatutoryand
otherlegalrights.
Homevisitsaremade between 8.30 amand 5.30 pm
MondaytoFriday.Visitsmaybe available outside
these hoursinwhichcase a premiumwill be charged.
Exclusions
Thisguarantee does notcover:
SDamage orcallsresulting fromtransportation,
improperuse orneglect, the replacementofany
lightbulbsor removable partsofglass orplastic.
SCoastsincurred forcallsto putrightan appliance
whichisimproperlyinstalled orcallsto appliances
outside the United Kingdom.
SAppliancesfound tobein usewithinacommercial
environment,plusthosewhich aresubjected toren-
talagreements.
SProductsofElectroluxmanufacturewhich are not
marketed byElectrolux.
EuropeanGuarantee
If you shouldmoveto anothercountrywithinEurope
thenyourguarantee moveswithyou toyournewhome
subject tothe following qualifications:
STheguarantee startsfromthe dateyou firstpurcha-
sed yourproduct.
SThe guarantee isforthe same period and tothe
same extent forlabourand partsasexistsinthe
newcountryofuseforthisbrand or range ofpro-
ducts.
SThisguarantee relatestoyou and cannotbe trans-
ferred to anotheruser.
SYournewhomeiswithintheEuropean community
(EC)orEuropean Free TradeArea.
SThe productisinstalled and used in accordance
with ourinstructionsand isonlyused domestically,
i.e.a normalhousehold.
SThe productisinstalled taking into accountregula-
tionsinyournewcountry.
Beforeyou move pleasecontactyournearestCusto-
merCareCentre,listed below,to givethemdetailsof
yournewhome.Theywill then ensurethat the local
ServiceOrganisation isaware ofyour move and able
tolookafteryourappliances.
